Emilio is a Performance Poet, author and speaker from Bronx, NYC who fuses life experiences with drama and comedy, to birth his works of poetry with the aim to aid in the conversation for betterment and improvement. Emilio is a Queens Underground Poets Slam Champion and a renowned author of the book, I’m a Poet and Ya Know It Vol.1.
He has performed at the NuYoRican Poets Cafe and the Bowery Poetry Club and Hosts his very own Open Mic each month in New York City. Emilio The Poet is also one half of the famed Podcast Dribble N Dimes which centers around Hoops and it's vast history in the Tri-State area.
Emilio's "You Don't Want That Smoke" is inspired by the AATCLC and its fight to save black lives, and hopes that his art can be a positive addition to a great cause and how, as a community, may be able to aid each other.
