The Keep Michigan Kids Tobacco-Free Alliance is advancing Comprehensive Tobacco Prevention Policies including requiring tobacco retailers to be licensed, just like liquor and marijuna retailers, so the state can effectively enforce laws prohibiting the sale of tobacco to minors, repeal ineffective penalties that punish kids and, instead, hold the companies that profit from tobacco sales accountable, tax e-cigarettes and vaping products just like cigarettes and other tobacco products and invest in proven strategies to reduce youth tobacco use.
